Easy DIY Face Mask for Sensitive Skin



I love home remedies, and today I will be sharing a very simple Do-it-Yourself face mask, which is extremely potent in healing very sensitive skin using only two ingredients; Banana & Oats.

Take one over ripe banana and cut it into two halves. Take 2 tablespoons oats and add it to ONE half of the banana. Take a fork and start mashing the two together. The moisture in the banana will soften the oats. You can go ahead and add a dash of HONEY if you have acne prone skin, or few drops of OLIVE OIL if you have dry skin. I didn't add honey to my mask because I am allergic to it, and it makes my face itchy.

Take the face mask and apply it evenly all over your face, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. You can also apply this to your arms to soothe sunburns/allergies. Once dry, dampen the mask slightly and use a gentle circulatory motion to remove the mask away from your face, this way you can exfoliate your dead skin cells out. You can also use a wet washcloth to remove the mask.

Oats has been associated with calming down skin sensitivity since time immemorial, and is fantastic for calming down any allergic reaction you might have had in your skin.
