The dress clinches on the waist giving the illusion of a longer length, and has two slits so that you don't tip and fall. The adjustable spaghetti straps gave me the perfect fit. Maxi dresses are so easy to throw on and accessorise on a sunny day. I think maxi dresses are a staple if you are a style noob like me. It literally takes no effort to look chic with a maxi dress on. You can style your long dress with bed hair, a swipe of your favourite lip gloss, sunglasses and a pair of flip flops and you are done. If you are petite, opt for solid colours and pair them up with wedges to give you the needed length. Make sure you find the right fit, make and print before you buy your first long dress.
I am so glad the it stopped pouring heavily for the past couple of days here in Bombay, but the weather has been scorching hot instead of turning Autumnal. Cueing in the opportunity, my maxi dress came out and I paired the dress with a muted envelope messenger bag from Forever 21, amped up the arm candy with loads of rings, a chunky pink bracelet with a golden hue, and my rose gold Hugo Boss watch. For the tousled hair look, I sprayed few pumps of the Toni & Guy Sea Salt texturizing spray on my bed hair and scrunched it up a few times to add in a little texture and to hold the waves throughout the day.
I can't wave off the relaxed, beachy, glamorous vibes whenever I wear this ensemble.
