the body shop hand cream review, soap and glory hand cream review, crab and tree gardeners therapy hand cream review

Now that the weather has finally taken a turn and it's starting to get a little chilly here in Mumbai, I decided to note down some of my favourite hand creams and share them with you. I find myself using hand creams more often when the weather is dry and cold than when it's hot and humid. The last thing I want to do on a sweaty summer's day is put hand cream on. So, here they are..

Soap and Glory Hand Food Rs 390/-
This is definitely for those of you with oily hands. You can always find this in my bag because of it's size, packaging and the flip cover. The formula is really light, absorbs very easily and doesn't leave your hands feeling slippery. This also has a very sweet but zesty fragrance, which I am not the biggest fan of, mostly because it smells exactly like what the yellow Cinthol soap smells like. Other than that I think this is quite a keeper and will always be one of my bag essentials. You can get this in bigger sizes too, but I think this size is the perfect for someone who is always on the go, and the price doesn't burn the wallet too.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream Rs 995/-
This one is another hand cream for those of you with oily hands. This is like the best tropical weather hand cream, as in, the one you can use during hot summer months. This is a very light hand cream, perfect for oily skin, and if your hands are very dehydrated, you might feel as if you're hands aren'y moisturised at all. This also has SPF 15 in it, like I said, it's perfect for the summers. However, the smell is a little too Rosy to my liking. It can be quite overwhelming if you don't like really sweet and strong rose scents.

The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream Rs 850/-
This one smells really nutty, it's very thick and it's not the fastest one to sink onto your hands, but once it's sinked it is very moisturising, and a really nice cuticle cream. Almond oil really helps in strengthening nails and this hand cream certainly does that. The fragrance might not be everyone's liking, certainly not mine, but the hand cream is really effective. A good one to reach for after a nice and long manicure.

The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector Rs 850/-
This one is made up of hemp leaves (Yes, it's made up of actual cannabis leaves; NO, don't try to eat/smoke it, if that's what you're thinking) and is surprisingly very very moisturising. This one is definitely for someone with really really dry and chapped hands, as it is very thick and creamy. It can feel a little greasy if your hands aren't too dry, so it's best applied at night or if you are someone who washes their hand very frequently, or stay in a very cold place.

Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Therapy Rs 1497/-
I think this is by far the best hand cream I have ever tried. It is very thick, creamy and rich that quickly sinks into the hand and stays in for a long time. It is VERY moisturising and can actually be used to heal chapped or cracked hands, and that's why this would be perfect for those of you staying in extremely harsh winters. This is definitely a high end hand cream and is definitely priced on the higher side, but I guess I don't mind that because it is really good at what it does.
